Artem “kensizor” Kapran, a 20-year-old Ukrainian CS2 player, just pulled off the kind of highlight-reel moment that makes esports worth watching. During B8 Esports’ Stage 2 match against German squad BIG at IEM Cologne Major 2026, kensizor closed out a round with an ace, a term for single-handedly eliminating all five opposing players, helping seal BIG’s elimination from the tournament with a 2-1 series victory.
What actually happened in Cologne
B8 Esports, competing as a Europe VRS invitee, took down BIG across a three-map series. The final scoreline was 2-1 in favor of B8, advancing them further in the Major bracket while sending BIG home.
Kensizor was the standout performer across the entire series. He finished with a kill-death statline of 34-24, which translates to a roughly 1.42 K/D ratio. BIG’s roster, which included notable names like blameF, faveN, gr1ks, JDC, and tabseN, simply couldn’t find an answer.
The esports-crypto gap is still wide
