The man who allegedly rammed into Cape Town cyclist Landon la Grange in April has made his first appearance in court following his arrest in the Eastern Cape.
Siyabonga Myabalala appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Friday, where the court heard that he was keen to appoint a private attorney, but needed to ascertain whether he had enough funds.
The matter was postponed to July 28.
La Grange was struck on Victoria Road between Camps Bay and Bakoven on April 6.
