The bereaved widow and children of the late Deputy Superintendent of Corps (DSC) Agada Levi Agada have instituted a lawsuit before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, against the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), its Commandant-General Ahmed Abubakar Audi, and Attah John Onoja, the commander of NSCDC Mining Marshals over the alleged killing of Mr Agada.

In Suit No. CV/2458/26, the claimants, Mrs Lilian Achenyo Abraham, suing for herself and on behalf of the estate of the deceased, alongside the couple's two minor children, Joan Uredo-Ojo Levi and Jesse Ufedo-Ojo Levi, are demanding over N1.1 billion in damages and other reliefs.

Court documents obtained by SaharaReporters show that the deceased, Mr. Agada, was first taken to Azamu Clinic in Agwada before being referred to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, where he later died on February 19, 2026.
