In view of reports of heavy rainfall in several areas of the State capital, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed all key departments and agencies operating within the Core Urban Region (CURE) to remain on high alert and ensure uninterrupted civic services across the city.The Chief Minister instructed senior officials from various departments, including the police, traffic police, Municipal Administration, HYDRAA, electricity distribution agencies, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, and other concerned departments, to closely monitor the situation and respond swiftly.Mr. Reddy convened an urgent war-room meeting with top officials, including Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and the Special Chief Secretary overseeing CURE operations to review preparedness and coordinate response measures.In a post on social media, the CMO said that the Chief Minister directed authorities to maintain real-time monitoring of weather conditions and field-level developments to minimise disruptions. Officials were instructed to deploy emergency response teams in vulnerable areas and remain prepared to address waterlogging, traffic congestion, power outages, and other rain-related issues.
