In Odesa, the Security Service of Ukraine detained another agent of the Russian Federation who was registering Starlink satellite terminals for armed groups of the aggressor country.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.
“It has been established that the espionage mission was carried out by a local cargo handler recruited by the enemy. He came to the attention of Russian intelligence officers while looking for ‘easy money’ on Telegram channels,” the statement reads.
Promised “easy money,” the suspect first registered the Starlink devices in his own name and provided the relevant details to a handler in Russia.
Subsequently, the agent received instructions from him to recruit as many people as possible to carry out the illegal verification of the new terminals.
