The NDA Government has restored credibility of Andhra Pradesh among the investors in the last two years, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said. He was addressing a public meeting on `Two Years of Trust, Development and Welfare’ in Tirupati on Friday on the occasion of the completion of two years of NDA Government in the State.“We are establishing 175 MSME parks across the state. Investors who left during the previous administration are returning. Through Speed of Doing Business reforms, approvals are being granted quickly and efficiently.Within just 36 days, approvals were granted for a fifth-generation fighter aircraft project at Puttaparthi,’’ the Chief Minister said. The State had also attracted ₹23 lakh crore investments across industries in the last two years. The NDA government started administration after treating the 2024 elections mandate as a responsibility entrusted by the people to rebuild the state, Naidu said adding his government had won the confidence of people over the last two years and would remain committed to upholding that trust through continued good governance.‘Consistent support’The ‘consistent support’ extended by the Center had bailed out the State Government from many hardships including the financial bankruptcy and the progress of Andhra Pradesh’s progress was strengthened through the Centre-State partnership, according to the Chief Minister. Stating that the Double Engine government in the State had fulfilled all the promises made before the elections during the past two years, Naidu cautioned people against `political conspiracies’ aimed at hindering the state’s development. The public representatives were servants of the people but not rulers and must remain accountable to citizens, he said. The people of the state, who `realised’ the need to protect democracy and rebuild Andhra Pradesh and delivered a historic verdict with 57 percent vote share and 164 seats, he said.Published on June 12, 2026
