The third-generation Mercedes CLA sedan has arrived in South Africa as the first member of the brand's completely new compact car family, which, for the first time, will not include any A-Class models.
It's available in a single variant, with the CLA 200 hitting showroom floors at R937,000, which makes it just R6,000 less expensive than the entry-level C-class sedan.
Love it or loathe it, the new CLA is a bold new vehicle, with swoopy styling that would not appear out of place on a concept car and a futuristic cabin with an available full-length screen.
It’s also available as an electric variant for the first time ever.
