Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the all-new GLA, bringing electric power, AI-driven technology and a more spacious cabin to its smallest SUV
Mercedes-Benz’s entry point into the SUV world has become significantly more sophisticated with the arrival of the third-generation GLA.
Electric-only at launch, with hybrid versions to follow, the new GLA is built on the company’s new multi-energy MMA platform, which also underpins the new CLA. It sits 20mm lower than its predecessor, but the wheelbase has grown by 61mm to free up additional interior space. Boot capacity has also increased by 70 litres to 410 litres.

Externally, the GLA is distinguished by a large, optionally illuminated grille featuring 608 polycarbonate light points. Combustion models will receive a unique grille with 150 hot-stamped stars in a chrome finish.
