State TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao on Thursday accused YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of attempting to cast a shadow over Mega DSC.In a release, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said Mr. Jagan chose to question a recruitment drive that had already transformed the lives of 16,347 families across Andhra Pradesh.During the years 2019 and 2024, under the YSRCP Government, unemployed youth were disappointed with delayed notifications, unfulfilled assurances, and lack of job calendars, he said.Within days of assuming office, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu accorded top priority to Mega DSC, while HRD Minister N. Lokesh conducted the recruitment exercise with exceptional urgency and oversight. The recruitment process was completed in 148 days, culminating in the appointment of 16,347 teachers and setting a new benchmark for administrative delivery in the education sector, he said.Rejecting allegations of irregularities, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said the DSC examinations were conducted through the highly secure TCS iON platform, employing advanced 256-bit encryption standards and multilayered technological safeguards. “The same ecosystem is trusted for several of India’s premier competitive examinations. Claims of question-paper leaks reflect either a lack of understanding of the system or a deliberate attempt to mislead the public,” he said.More than 42,000 questions were prepared under stringent security protocols by SCERT experts, while randomisation technology ensured that each examination session operated independently, making organised leaks virtually impossible. He also dismissed attempts to create confusion regarding document verification, clarifying that such procedures were standard practice in all major government recruitments, and essential to ensuring that only eligible candidates were finally appointed.
