The police have arrested a woman on the charge of killing her husband by conspiring with her paramour and others.A team led by Police Inspector Javed Mushapuri arrested two associates of the woman.Sandeep Manjre, ex-Serviceman, was seriously injured in an accident during the village fair in Yamakanamaradi near Belagavi. He was found inebriated and was admitted to a private hospital.The local police then began investigation when he died. Investigators found that the patient had been administered pesticides through intravenous injections.Questioning the staff revealed a plot involving the retired soldier’s wife and another man with whom she was having an affair.They had bribed the hospital staff to inject the pesticide into the tubes.A case has been registered.
