The Yogandhra celebrations held at Paderu in Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Thursday began with the beating of the traditional tribal drum (dhol), drawing appreciation from participants and locals.The event also stood out for the participation of senior district officials, including District Collector T. Nishanthi, ITDA Project Director Aditya Varma and Joint Collector T. Sri Pooja who attend the programme dressed in traditional tribal attire as a mark of respect for the region’s culture and traditions.The gesture by the officials was well received by the locals, who opined that it reflected the officials commitment to promoting and showcasing the rich tribal heritage of the agency region.A large number of students, youth and local residents participated enthusiastically in the event.
