The Tirupati district administration has made every effort over the last two weeks to promote yoga alongside tourism by holding camps at various tourist attractions.District Collector S. Venkateswar, who performed yoga along with district officials and the general public, at the SVU Stadium here on Sunday, recalled how they promoted yoga by holding special Yogandhra camps in tourist places like Srikalahasti temple, Chandragiri Fort, Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park and others.The camp conducted for two weeks leading up to Yoga Day helped spread the message to the public. The awareness levels have improved a lot, with many people decideding to continue practicing yoga throughout their life, in line with the objectives of the Union government, he said.Superintendent of Police (SP) L. Subbarayudu, Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, Vice-Chancellors Tata Narasinga Rao (SVU) and V. Uma (SPMVV), Andhra Pradesh Yadava Welfare Corporation chairman G.
