The Doctoral Program in Management of Technology (EDMT) marked its annual Research Day with an engaging showcase of student research and academic dialogue. Jeanne Fernandez was awarded the 2026 Best Poster Presentation, and Franziska Zollner was recognized as the runner-up.The EDMT Research Day, held on May 7, 2026 opened over lunch with a warm welcome from Prof. Thomas Weber, Director of the doctoral program. The spotlight then shifted to the doctoral students, who showcased their work across two interactive sessions. Each session opened with a “poster slam”—a sequence of brief presentations followed by audience Q&A—before participants moved on to engage more deeply with presenters at their posters, encouraging detailed discussion and feedback.Participants were invited to evaluate each presentation across several criteria, with the highest-scoring presenters receiving special recognition for excellence in research communication.A highlight of the day was the keynote address by Prof. Luisa Lambertini, EDMT faculty member. Her talk on “What Universities Want" offered valuable insights into academic expectations and career pathways, prompting lively and engaging exchanges.© 2026 EPFLPROGRAM OF THE 2026 EDMT RESEARCH DAYWelcome & LunchProf. Thomas Weber, EDMT DirectorStudent Presentations - Session 1Mohammad Shahverdikondori (BAN)Jeanne Fernandez (PASU)Mengmeng Li (RAO)Franziska Zollner (PASU)Yanan Niu (SFI-LL)Student Presentations - Session 2Maxime Bataillard (PASU)Roy Sarkis (SFI-LL)Andrea Ruglioni (SFI-CSF)Qi Yi (TOM)Jiechen Zhang (GO)Featured Faculty PresentationProf. Luisa Lambertini, SFI-LL Chair: "What Universities Want"Best Poster Presentation Prize & Closure© 2026 EPFL© 2026 EPFL© 2026 EPFL© 2026 EPFL© 2026 EPFL
