The race required participants to navigate rocky trails and climb a vertical elevation gain of 3,020 metres. He was also one of the few competitors to complete the race without sufering any injury or muscle cramps. In a chat with ETV Bharat, Rahul shared the regimen which helped him build endurance. “Despite working six days a week in a demanding corporate job, I follow a strict fitness regime. I do 1.5 hours of daily gym training and stretching, along with challenging mountain training sessions every Sunday,” he explained. Having earned a lot of medals and trophies in mountaineering and endurance events in the last few years, Rahul is now aiming to completing a 100-km mountain ultra by December.
