Residents of areas falling under Adyar, Perungudi, and Sholinganallur zones will not receive piped water supply from 9 a.m. on June 12 to 9 a.m. on June 13 as the Nemmeli desalination plant will be shut down for maintenance works.A press release said water supply to areas, including Thiruvanmiyur, Kottivakkam, Injambakkam, Pallikaranai, and Velachery, will be disrupted.Chennai Metrowater has requested residents to store water in advance and also book tanker water supply online for immediate needs.
