The directive was conveyed in a statement issued by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has ordered all political appointees in his administration who are not aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) or have publicly declared allegiance to other political parties to immediately resign their appointments or face dismissal.

The directive was conveyed in a statement issued by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

According to the statement, affected appointees have been given 48 hours to submit their resignation letters to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

"This directive has become necessary to preserve government loyalty, discipline, and the integrity of public service," Governor Fintiri was quoted as saying.
