LONDON: A Gulf Cooperation Council statement said on Wednesday that Iranian hostilities were undermining trust and closing the door to dialogue.
The statement stressed that “aggression does not build relations or serve any understanding or rapprochement.”
The statement added that Iran’s continued aggressive approach would only lead to further isolation, warning that such policies weaken regional stability.
It also said that the door to understanding remains open to those “who choose the language of wisdom and good neighborliness.”
The council reaffirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, stressing that the security of Gulf states is indivisible and that any attack on one member constitutes an attack on all.
