The petition, submitted to the Accountant-General of the Federation by a civil society group, Community Rescue Initiative (CRI), alleges that Mr. Liman Babayo Othman Abubakar, popularly known as Babayo Liman, has been occupying two government positions at the same time in violation of public service regulations.
A petition has accused a Senior Special Assistant to Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, of allegedly receiving salaries from both the federal government and Bauchi State Government simultaneously for almost two decades while reportedly absent from his federal duty post.
The petition, submitted to the Accountant-General of the Federation by a civil society group, Community Rescue Initiative (CRI), alleges that Mr. Liman Babayo Othman Abubakar, popularly known as Babayo Liman, has been occupying two government positions at the same time in violation of public service regulations.
According to the petition, Babayo Liman currently serves as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Bauchi State on Internal Security while allegedly retaining his appointment as Chief Executive Officer (Accounts), Salary Grade Level 14, under the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, posted to the Federal Ministry of Works in Jos, Plateau State.
