The Bauchi State Police Command has commenced investigation into another case of alleged criminal conspiracy and forgery involving the production and circulation of fake appointment letters in the state.
The command’s spokesperson, Nafiu Habib, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, noting that the suspect, Saleem Alhassan of Zango Area, Bauchi Local Government Area, had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.
According to the statement, the case was transferred from the Area Command, Bauchi Metropolis, on May 18, 2026.
“On 18th May 2026, the Area Commander, Bauchi Metropolis, transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department. The suspect, Saleem Alhassan, male, of Zango Area, Bauchi Local Government Area, was also handed over for discreet investigation,” the statement read.
