The Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia has announced its 2026 launch event, marking the re-establishment of the organization and a renewed push to support Greek language education in the state, The Greek Herald reported.

The association, known as MGLTASA, said the relaunch follows more than 40 years of history and is being led by a new committee focused on strengthening professional networks and supporting educators across all sectors.

The invitation-only event, titled “Our Vision | Our Brand | Our Website,” will unveil the group’s new branding and website and outline its goals for collaboration, professional learning and promotion of Modern Greek language and culture.

Organizers said the initiative aims to reconnect educators, encourage innovative teaching practices and increase the visibility of Greek language education in South Australia. The event will also recognize past leaders and contributors to the association.
