The Finance Minister says a card payment surcharge ban will go ahead, but the government's still working through "many issues" raised about the proposed law.
Last year the government said the ban on surcharges for contactless and credit card payments would be in place by May this year, saving New Zealanders $65 million annually.
But the ACT Party has since pulled its support, with leader David Seymour calling it "bad economics".
Finance Minister Nicola Willis told Morning Report many issues were raised during the select committee process.
