Tactical bowling analysis and precision target drills alongside Proteas Women players.

As South Africa’s brilliant Proteas Women head onto the world stage to fight for their first-ever T20 World Cup trophy, a top-secret backup team has been spotted training incredibly hard at the famous Wanderers Stadium. Their mission? To be ready just in case the senior team needs a helping hand. The twist? The oldest player in this squad is only 13, and the youngest is just six years old.

This is the KFC Mini High-Performance Programme, a special camp where South Africa’s finest grassroots cricketers are being treated exactly like elite, multi-million-pound athletes. The kids have been thrown into the deep end of professional sport, experiencing activities usually reserved for seasoned superstars.

The training includes analyzing their bowling on big screens, deep tactical discussions about batting, explosive sprint conditioning, and bracing themselves for freezing ice baths to recover after a hard day's play.
