MANILA, Philippines – International seafood supplier Alliance Select Foods International Inc. temporarily suspended operations at its General Santos City facility after the June 8 earthquake in Mindanao.
In a disclosure on Tuesday, the company said it activated emergency response procedures and evacuated personnel to designated safe areas after the quake. Some employees required medical attention and are receiving assistance from the company.

Alliance Select said operations were halted as a precaution due to continuing aftershocks while safety inspections and damage assessments are being carried out.
