As part of a special drive against crime and narcotics at the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) in Koyambedu, Chennai City Police employed drone surveillance and analysed CCTV footage to keep a close watch on suspicious activities and strengthen security measures.The initiative was aimed at curbing thefts and drug-related offences at one of Chennai’s busiest transit points.Police teams carried out extensive checks across the bus terminus and its surrounding areas during night. Individuals found moving under suspicious circumstances were intercepted, searched, and questioned.
