Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed condolences to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, following the death of her younger brother, Prince Ikechukwu Okonjo.
In a post on his X account on Monday, Atiku sympathised with the former Nigerian finance minister and her family, describing the loss as painful and praying for strength for those left behind.
“Dear Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the recent loss of your beloved younger brother, Prince Ikechukwu Okonjo, who, until his passing, was a respected member of the Umu Obi Obahai royal family of the Ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Delta State,” Atiku wrote.
