American gymnastics star Simone Biles revealed over the weekend that she experienced a terrifying health scare, where she nearly lost her life.
She explained on her now-deleted Instagram Stories that she “almost died” and posted a picture of her arm, while wearing wristbands from the hospital.
In a lengthy caption, Biles wrote: “I'm not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today's age. But almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week.”
Without getting into the nitty-gritty details about what happened, she explained that the entire ordeal was the “scariest experience” of her life, and what made matters even worse was that her husband was in another city.
