It’s become common knowledge that many elite universities are politically uniform. When the Harvard student newspaper surveyed faculty members in 2023, 32 percent of the faculty identified as “very liberal” and 45 percent as “liberal.” By contrast, 0.4 percent of the faculty called themselves “very conservative” and 2.5 percent described themselves as “conservative.”
