The South African Police Service Search and Rescue Unit, jointly with the Sundays River Valley Local Municipality Rescue Team, conducted a recovery operation on Sunday, June 7.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) Search and Rescue Unit, together with the Sundays River Valley Local Municipality Rescue Team, conducted a recovery operation on Sunday morning following the discovery of the body of a missing man in the Sundays River, in the Eastern Cape.
The body of the 35-year-old, believed to be the driver of a Toyota Hilux bakkie that fell into the river on Saturday, was found by community members who had begun searching the area early on Sunday.

The body was found amongst debris along the bank of the river, approximately one kilometre away from where the Toyota Hilux bakkie veered into the water.
