Entle Manzi, 25, whose family, friends, and community members continue to call for justice following her death and ongoing court proceedings.
Calls are mounting for the investigation into the murder of 25-year-old Entle Manzi to extend beyond the accused after family members, supporters, and community organisations marched to Parow police station demanding that police investigate allegations that others may have assisted before, during, or after the alleged crime.
The march took place on Thursday, June 4, following the latest postponement in the case against accused Mihlali Tuoane.
Supporters gathered outside the police station carrying placards and later handed over a memorandum to the police, as they called for what they described as accountability and a thorough investigation.
Speaking on behalf of the family and community, representative Phumeza Manikivana said their concerns had grown following developments in the case, and they believed all possible avenues connected to Manzi’s death needed to be fully investigated.
