Babaseyi said preliminary inquiries had begun to establish the identities of the suspects and determine the circumstances surrounding their activities in the area.
The Ogun State Police Command has commenced an investigation into two male suspects arrested by the personnel of the Nigeria Forest Security Service in the Atiba area of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the suspects were arrested during a security operation conducted in the area and were subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
