ITHUBA has rejected allegations of payment delays regarding winning Lotto tickets, asserting that all operational data was submitted on time during the transition to the new operator, Sizekhaya.
ITHUBA has categorically rejected allegations of payment delays concerning winning tickets bought during its tenure as the National Lottery operator.
The entity described these reports as “factually incorrect,” insisting that all necessary operational information had been successfully submitted to facilitate prize payments.
This comes after reports that players experienced challenges when trying to claim winnings from the weekend of 29 to 31 May, that are now payable by Sizekhaya following the transition, due to missing records from ITHUBA.
However, ITHUBA refers to these claims as false and misleading, asserting that it has fully complied with all regulations required during the transition of services.
