Lotto players holding winning tickets bought before Sizekhaya took operational control of the National Lottery and Sports Pools may now submit claims and receive payment of prizes through the applicable prize claim processes
Sizekhaya Holdings has confirmed the successful validation and reconciliation of historic National Lottery and Sports Pools prize administration records relating to tickets purchased before June 1.
The completion of the process means players holding winning tickets purchased before Sizekhaya assumed operational control of the National Lottery and Sports Pools can now submit claims and receive prize payments through the relevant National Lottery claims procedures.
The validation exercise followed an extensive reconciliation process aimed at ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of prize administration records transferred during the transition between National Lottery operators.
While the timing of the transfer process was outside Sizekhaya's control, the company said it prioritised the validation and reconciliation of the information as soon as it was received to protect players and maintain the integrity of prize payments.
