MANILA, Philippines — As the Department of Education (DepEd) continues to track nationwide school readiness, Secretary Sonny Angara has launched Project Handa to strategically deploy resources and address public school needs to ensure a smooth opening of classes on June 8.
By tracking critical indicators across key components– including physical facilities, support to learners, and instructional readiness— DepEd can proactively deploy resources where they are needed most.
Angara emphasized that the initiative is a direct response to the administration’s mandate to eliminate guesswork in education governance.
