MANILA, Philippines — National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag said on Thursday that they are currently investigating a video showing a “second batch” of alleged former Marines supposedly being bribed to also testify in the flood control anomalies.
During a press conference on Thursday, the NBI played the video about the alleged additional former Marines, which Matibag said was being monitored by the bureau’s Cybercrime Division (CCD) on social media.

“Our CCD has monitored that the Marines, someone is talking to them, and it looks like they’re really raising prices. That’s what’s happening,” Matibag also said in an ambush interview after the press conference.
