Two office-bearers of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam visited a civic body school at Kumbakonam on Friday morning and tasted the breakfast offered to the students.According to sources, the TVK Thanjavur East District treasurer, Vijayachandran and Kumbakonam Town secretary, Muruganantham visited the Kumbakonam Corporation Primary School at Banathurai and tasted the food offered to the pupil.While the action of TVK office-bearers was claimed as an effort to ensure quality food offered to the pupil under the government-sponsored scheme, the office-bearers and cadres of other political parties at Kumbakonam questioned the visit and inspection of the TVK office-bearers.
