Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner G. Srijana on Thursday, June 4, reviewed the progress of key civic and developmental initiatives during a meeting with Zonal Commissioners, the Chief City Planner, City Planners, Deputy Commissioners and officials of the Town Planning Wing.The review focused on the status of pending applications under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS), building permission applications processed through the BuildNow system, Transferable Development Rights (TDR) applications, pending court cases, grievance redressal mechanisms, encroachment removal drives and land acquisition matters linked to road widening projects.During the meeting, Ms. Srijana directed officials to expedite the disposal of pending applications and priority works while maintaining transparency and accountability in service delivery. She also stressed the need for stronger coordination among departments, effective field-level monitoring and prompt action on issues requiring immediate attention.Reviewing the progress of road widening and encroachment removal initiatives, she instructed the concerned departments to work closely to resolve bottlenecks affecting infrastructure projects.“Timely execution of such projects is essential for improving urban mobility and civic amenities in the rapidly growing areas under the Corporation,” the Commissoner said.
