They said the families had been using the water for several days.People alleged that the dog was killed and dumped in the tank. They raised concerns about possible health risks from consuming contaminated water.They sought a police investigation and action against those responsible.Panchayat authorities have begun cleaning and disinfecting the tank and assessing potential health risks.
