Eight dogs poisoned in Palladam Municipality, sparking concerns for street dog safety and the need for sterilization.
Eight dogs were reportedly poisoned to death in ward 5 of Palladam Municipality in Tiruppur district on Monday. Health Department workers disposed off the carcasses.
According to the local body sources, the carcasses of the dogs were found in different locations, including Kamaraj Nagar and Pachapalayam.
Police say they have confirmed at least 354 killings so far and arrested nine people.
