More than 10 persons including a female sanitary worker have been admitted to the Tiruvallur Government Hospital after being bitten by a stray dog in Kakkalur village. A stray dog ​​had been roaming in the Kakkalur main road, which borders the Tiruvallur Municipality. Suddenly, the dog started chasing down persons who were walking on the road and bit 10 persons, including a few women who were standing outside a house. Sarasu, a sanitary worker at the municipality who was on her way home, was also bitten. Local residents including Gajendran (65), Suresh (42), Ravikumar (26), Bhaskar (47), and Loganathan (60) of Kakkalur who suffered dog bite injuries were admitted in the Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital for treatment.The Tiruvallur taluk police have filed a case and are investigating.
