Even as Kadayanallur and surroundings areas are witnessing rapid rise in ‘mysterious’ fever cases, described as ‘dengue’ by locals based on symptoms and treatment, 12 people suffered dog bite on Sunday.A group of people were on their way to attend a wedding, when two stray dogs bit Sudharshana, 13, and Murugan, 46, of Mela Kadayanallur, Pragadish, 40, of Agraharam Street, Kadayanallur, and Muthaiah, 65, of nearby Kanmaniyapuram. Another group of farmhands going to work early in the morning were attacked by another stray dog. A total of 12 people suffered dog bite on Sunday.
