ANC Chief Whip in Parliament, Mdumiseni Ntuli (left) and ANC NEC Member, Donald Selamolela, addressed the media on matters relating to the Impeachment Committee, and several other matters.
The ANC Parliamentary Caucus has said that their opinions of their Government of National Unity (GNU) partners about the ANC study groups 'have not been well informed, and are completely misguided'.
ANC Chief Whip Mdumiseni Ntuli spoke out about the recent scrutiny of the ANC study groups during a media briefing at Parliament on Wednesday.
Previously, at least four ministers had confirmed that several of their departmental officials had been attending ANC study groups to brief them on topics for portfolio committee meetings and to explain technical issues.
This was revealed in parliamentary responses posed by the DA amid reports that the ANC continued with the practice of inviting top government officials to their study group meetings, contrary to the Constitution and the Code of Conduct for the public service.
