Political analyst Prince Mashele says President Cyril Ramaphosa is using every legal avenue available to stall his political removal and prevent potential arrest, regarding the concealed funds at his Phala Phala farm.
Political analyst Prince Mashele has labelled President Cyril Ramaphosa a “criminal president”, adding that he is exhausting every legal tactic possible to extend his time in office and evade accountability.
Mashele added that the mere fact that Ramaphosa kept foreign money on his farm, hidden inside a couch, constitutes a criminal offence in South Africa.
He made these remarks during his interview on the State of the Nation podcast with host Mike Sham.
Mashele's comments follows the recent Constitutional Court’s (ConCourt) ruling that the National Assembly acted unlawfully in 2022 when its ANC majority voted to block an impeachment inquiry against Ramaphosa over the Phala Phala farm scandal.
