A 62-year-old community leader, Joshua Bulus, has been found dead in Dyein village of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, with security operatives launching an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his killing.
Security sources told counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama that troops of Operation Safe Haven discovered the body of the deceased after responding to a distress report from the community on Tuesday morning.
According to the sources, troops attached to Operation Safe Haven arrived at the scene at about 8:15 a.m. after receiving information that a corpse had been sighted on the outskirts of Dyein village.
