JOS – Gunmen late Thursday night killed a middle-aged man, identified simply as Mr. Bulus, in Ncha community of Miango District, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The National Secretary of the Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Danjuma Dickson Auta, confirmed the incident to Vanguard on Friday and condemned the attack, describing it as another unprovoked assault on peaceful residents.
According to him, the victim was ambushed, killed, and his body dumped in a shallow stream by the attackers.
Auta called on security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
