Two people have died in separate violent attacks in Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State.

The victims were identified as 58-year-old community leader, Daniel Pulle, and Deborah Benjamin Kak, who died from injuries sustained in an earlier attack.

The incidents were disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by Rwang Tengwong, the National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders (BYM).

According to the statement, Pulle, the community leader of Gana-Ropp in Ropp District of Barkin Ladi LGA, was attacked at about 7:55 p.m. on Sunday while returning home on his motorcycle. In a separate incident, Kak, who sustained gunshot injuries during an attack on her residence in Lwa village, Bachi District of Riyom LGA on June 26, died on Sunday at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), where she had been receiving treatment.
