Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has defended Iran’s attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as “self-defence strikes”.
As previously reported, Kuwaiti authorities said they intercepted 30 ballistic missiles and drones, while a strike on the country’s main airport killed one person and wounded dozens more.
In a post on X, Araghchi said Iranian forces targeted sites that US forces “use to attack civilian shipping and violate the ceasefire”.
“What sanctions and war failed to achieve won’t be won with more war,” he added.
