Ukraine’s Defense Forces have preliminarily struck ships and infrastructure facilities in the Russian port of Kronstadt.
According to Ukrinform, the information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“On June 2 and during the night of June 3, 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of important targets of the Russian invaders,” the statement said.
Among the targets hit was the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal (St. Petersburg, Leningrad region, Russian Federation). The strike was confirmed, followed by a fire on the terminal’s premises.
“The oil terminal is one of the largest petroleum transshipment complexes in the Baltic region and plays a key role in supporting the export and logistics of fuel resources of the Russian Federation. Its annual throughput capacity is 10 million tons. The facility is involved in supplying the needs of the aggressor state's military formations,” the General Staff noted.
