At least 22 people are known to have been killed and more than 100 others injured after Russia launched one of its biggest missile and drone attacks since the start of the full-scale war in February 2022.
Most of the strikes were aimed at the capital Kyiv – hitting blocks of flats, hospitals and businesses: at one point 40 missiles targeted the city in the space of 20 minutes.
President Zelenskyy warned there could be another mass attack tonight.
