Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during the farewell ceremony for David Barnea, the head of Mossad, that the Islamic Republic has already paid a heavy price for its conspiracies against Israel, and that the ultimate fate of the government is collapse.

According to a report by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, published on Tuesday, June 2, on X, Netanyahu said during the ceremony: “Let anyone harboring malice against Israel know that their conspiracies will fail, and the price they pay will be exceedingly heavy. The price that the Islamic Republic has paid up to this point is already very heavy. The foundations of the regime of terror in Iran have cracked, and it will never return to what it once was. I tell you, its ultimate fate is collapse.”

During the same ceremony, Roman Gofman, who has been appointed as the new head of Mossad, remarked that recent developments have altered the balance of power in the region.

He stated: “The strategic shift we generated within the Iranian axis and what is called the plan for the destruction of Israel has altered the equation of power across the entire region. The Shiite axis, which had placed the destruction of our country in its slogans, has suffered a severe blow, but the work is not yet finished.”
