Veena Mallanaik Naikar, judge at the Principal Family Court, Hubballi, and chairperson of the Taluka Legal Services Committee, said that students will have numerous career options if they are willing to work with dedication, commitment and honesty.She was inaugurating a one-day workshop on career guidance organised by KLE Society’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College in Hubballi on Tuesday (June 2).Narrating her own story of struggle and success, she said that success was in one’s own hands. She gave tips to the students on how they should be prepared to face challenges in life.Principal Dnyaneshwar P. Chouri presided over the inaugural function. Sharada G. Patil, IQAC coordinator, was present. College Union chairperson Jaihanuman H.K. coordinated the event.In subsequent sessions, Subhashchandra Rathod, former civil judge and professor of practice at the Central University of Karnataka, Kalaburagi, spoke on pursuing a career in the judiciary; Sreenath Srinivasan, advocate-on-record at the Supreme Court of India, spoke about practising at the Supreme Court; and Sneha B.
